Today, we have received our supply of the new Keo 2 Carbon pedal from Look, and let me start by say what a great looking piece of hardware. We are big fans of look pedals here at RMC cycles and have used and supplied them on most of our own and customer bikes.
The new Leo 2 Max pedals are made from carbon and weigh in at a feather light 118grams. Handling them you really feel the lightness and get the assurance that they are well built and will last you a very long time. Installation is very easy and we had them up and running within minutes. Upon our 1st ride out we clipped into the cleats with great ease thanks to the new 12% larger surface area. Power was delivered without any problems and un-clipping was down without any problems.
Included within the box are a set of Keo grip cleats that fit very well onto our road shoes.
Overall
One of the best pedals on the market and we will always recommend them for our customers, a 9 out of 10!
Cost
Our price for these great pedals is £124.99 and that also includes cleats.

With the great weather a lighter nights, we got out for our 1st evening ride of the year.
A very nice circuit round the Leicestershire/Derbyshire countryside and taken in the steep Piston Hill.
Here's the details
Got out for a nice 8k run tonight, 1st since last sundays race in Uckfield.
Sunday saw our 1st triathlon of the year at Uckfield, East Sussex,
Just a super sprint with 87 entries covering the 200m swim, 16k bike and a 3.5k run.
Swim started well and I managed to put in a time of 3minutes 19 (18th overall.) The weather was kind and with a temperature of 15c.
The transition area was cramped to say the least but meant a very short T1 time. The bike was a very hilly course but i managed to put in a time of 34 minutes (8th overall). Raced the entire length of the bike course against a guy who beat me to 10th! The run (which is always my weak point) was a nice course but with a majorly steep hill towards the end. I put in a good time of 15.35secs (20th overall)
My end time was 52.24 which put me 11th overall and 4th in my age group.
A good start to the season and i was glad to see all that training over the winter has made a difference to my times. Only 2 weeks to the next race!
Got in a short 28k bike ride tonight, the last before Sundays 1st triathlon of the year.
Just under a week before out 1st race of the season, i managed to get a great 8k run in tonight.
